Illustrator Toby Allen has created a series of whimsical drawings called ‘Real Monsters’ that imagines mental illnesses as cute and cuddly creatures.
Far from making light of a heavy subject, Allen said he wanted to show that mental illnesses are beatable by portraying them as creatures that can be slain.
