A Pencil That Lets You Draw A Six-Mile-Long Continuous Line

Based in the UK, design agency Lyon & Lyon has created “The Six Mile Pencil” that “indicates how far you've drawn and contains 6 miles of graphite”.

Designed to encourage users to draw, write and create more, these pencils are “honest low tech” products that contain enough graphite each to draw a continuous line that is six miles, or ten kilometers, long.

Displaying the distance that you have used, these bright yellow pencils would make a quirky gift for someone who likes putting pencil to paper.

The Six Mile Pencil is currently sourcing for funds on Kickstarter—you can pledge for it here.
