Google's Kerning Trick In Its Search Engine Will Delight Typography Geeks

Earlier this year Google improved its logo kerning, after much criticism for its type choice.

First discovered by Google UK staff Pierre Far, Google has created a clever little kerning trick in its search engine—tweaking the space between letters in its search engine when users does a search for ‘Kerning’ and ‘typography kerning’.

According to Creative Bloq, “you'll notice a little extra breathing space between the lettering on the 'kerning' search results page”.

This little tick should have brought some amusement to typography enthusiasts today.
