If you are a fan of Studio Ghibli movies, then you will probably love this exhibition at Paris’ Art Ludique museum.
The now defunct studio will showcase 1,300 storyboards from various movies, including favorites like My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, and Spirited Away. It is the first time the studio is exhibiting in Europe.
We will get a glimpse of what it was like to produce these films, and perhaps imagine what went on in the minds of Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki.
Indeed, these storyboards were crucial to the success of these films as they contributed to the mise-en-scène of each one.
