Lovely Black-And-White Portraits Of Gravity-Defying People Captured In Mid-Jump





Photography student Tomas Januska brilliantly captured the “temporary state of weightlessness” and the endless fun experienced in jumping through his aptly named photo series, ‘Gravity’.



For his photo series, Januska asked his subjects, a mix of people unfamiliar with dance or sports, to make between 150 to 600 jumps in front of his camera, leaving them to create their own poses.



Januska said that photographing these selected subjects allowed them to “‘give themselves away’ in the studio” as they were not bound to dance rules.



Interestingly, Januska managed to produce amazing, gravity-defying poses from his photo shoot without the use of trampolines, making you wonder about his secret behind evoking such bountiful bursts of energy from his subjects.
