Meet Dave Murray—an illustrator. He’s also the “world’s slowest color copier”.

The screen printer said, “With screen printing, people sometimes ask me ‘where do you get a printer that can print something like that?’ I’d say, ‘No, I actually physically pass color through a mesh screen on the paper. I’d do this 50-odd times per color, and then let it dry and switch to the next one.’

“I’m like the world’s slowest color copier,” he added.

The two-minute-long video introduces the laborious but satisfying job of screen printing, and how Murray gets inspiration for his works.

The short is part of art collective Nuvango’s series of features of various creative individuals.
