Artist Camouflages Objects With Wrapping Paper

Artist Benedict Morgan’s fascination with the way still objects interact with their backgrounds makes for interesting compositions.

In his ‘Wrapping Paper Series’, the artist wraps everyday objects in wrapping paper of the exact same print as the wallpaper they are placed against.

In the resulting photographs, the objects take on a different dimension, making them a little less ordinary.

Artfully camouflaged, the contours of the objects are made distinct, so that the objects seem to emerge from the wall instead of being swallowed by it.
