Crochet Street Artist Spins Her Magic On An Entire Locomotive In Poland

New York-based Polish artist Olek makes psychedelic crochet street art. Her colorful works add cheer to dreary streets, and were previously seen around New York and London.



For her newest project, she returned to her birthplace of Poland to infuse its streets with some of her whimsical charm.



Olek wanted to “make each project larger than the next”, and she certainly went big this time—by setting out to cover a four-car locomotive in her colorful crochet.



The project, fondly called 'The Train That Stood Still', was completed in 4 days with the help of a few assistants.
