In Germany, Festival Showcases Vibrant Graffiti Art By Brazilian Artists

Organized by art gallery SCHIRN, “Street Art Brazil” is a great example of successful artistic exchange—11 Brazilian artists and artist groups have been invited to paint on the streets of Frankfurt, Germany to showcase the diversity of the graffiti work from the South American country.

Considered to be markedly different from the styles of U.S and European artists, the Brazilian artists have created a spectacular show that spans the city, starting with the outside wall of SCHIRN.

Other than the traditional brick or concrete wall, the guest graffiti artists have also made their murals on glass facades, temporary walls surrounding construction sides and even on the sides of trams.

Transforming the city into a whimsical gallery of dynamic and vibrant street art, the “Street Art Brazil” festival will be on-going until 27 October 2013—view more images of the featured graffiti artworks below.
