Google Sports A Subtle, ‘New’ Logo Design

To keep up with the current trend of companies ‘modernizing’ their brands, Google appears to have redesigned its logo.

However, according to The Verge, this ‘new design’ will not be replacing the company’s original logo, but will only be used in instances where the original, beveled logo “may not display well”.

First spotted by Ars Technica in the latest Chrome beta for Android, the ‘new logo’ sports a flatter design with slightly muted colors.

“The result is a cleaner, more modern design that seems to be the complete opposite of the recent Yahoo disaster,” wrote the website.

What do you think of Google’s ‘new logo’? Does it look better than Yahoo's?
