Photo Series About Sexual Assault Aims To Encourage Healing Through Art

Project Unbreakable’ is a photo series about sexual assault survivors started by Grace Brown to “encourage the act of healing through art”.

Since its inception in 2011, it has showcased over 2,000 stories from survivors. Submissions are anonymous and survivors are photographed holding signs bearing the quotes of their attackers.

Poignant and devastating, the images are a stark reminder of the horrific atrocities inflicted on the men and women featured, and at the same time highlight their courage and indomitable spirit to rise above the trauma they suffered.
