Awe-Inspiring Photo Of Daredevil Skiing Down Giant Iceberg In The Antarctic

For most people, skiing down the faces of steep mountains would probably be one of their most thrilling experiences—but for daredevil and mountaineer Chris Davenport, it would take a giant iceberg in the Antarctic.

After sailing from Argentina to the Antarctic peninsula, Davenport scaled a 60-foot-high iceberg—he then proceeded to ski down it at break-neck speed, narrowly avoiding a dip in the icy waters around the iceberg.

The moment was captured by photographer Greg Von Doersten, who also took some stunning pictures of Davenport and his team-mates as they skied down the towering peaks in the extremely remote area.
