It’s amazing how things bring people together, and how people find love in different places.
Recently engaged couple, Elizabeth Wisdom and Denis Lafargue, found each other on the photo-sharing app none other than Instagram—according to Buzzfeed.
A new-age romantic story that could’ve only been possible with 21st-century technology, the couple ‘met’ in 2012 on a post by Wisdom.
“*Gasping* I miss this place,” Lafargue commented on the photo that shows Crater Lake in Oregon.
“It’s seriously the most beautiful place I’ve ever been,” Wisdom replied.
“Let’s go move in on the island!”
“Yes! Haha. I could definitely live there ;)”
Thereafter, more comments between the two were exchanged—and soon, Wisdom offered to meet up and they swapped numbers.
Time worked its magic, Wisdom flew from Texas to New Orleans to meet Lafargue, and they started dating.
Nine months down the road, Lafargue proposed to Wisdom—and she said “yes”.
