As a personal project, NYC-based graphic designer Michelle Samuels has created a set of superhero pictograms and used them in an eye-catching poster series.
Picking out well-known quotes from the superheroes to be featured on these posters, she has taken care not to use any of the superheroes’ symbols, and has also tried to use quotes that do not mention their names.
Even so, it is still very easy to identify each of these comic book personalities—by pairing the minimalist graphics with bright colors, the designer is able to create color blocks that renders these posters very striking.
We are not sure if she would be turning this project series into real posters, but we sure hope that she does.
