We have previously featured this telekinetic prank that was used to promote the movie Carrie. More recently, ad agency Friends from Moscow, Russia, has come up with a scary prank of their own.
As blood features prominently in the film, the pranksters have placed a special bar of soap in a club’s restroom, which causes users' hands to turn blood red when using it.
After use, the victim of the prank is supposed to grab a paper towel with the words, “Carrie—in theaters November 14”.
Although many people were shocked, it seems like they had forgotten to take a paper towel, thus defeating the purpose of the prank.
What do you think—is pranking people a good way to advertise?
