Based in Seattle, Peter Kirk—self-described as a destroyer of pants—has created the “Ledge Pants”, which are “stain-proof pants for everyday use”.
After ruining many pairs of pants over the years, Kirk decided to come up with his own design that is not only stain-proof, but also durable enough to withstand the daily stress that an active person puts his pants through.
Made of a breathable material that wicks away sweat on the inside and repels water on the outside, the Ledge Pants can even resists tougher stains like grease and oil, which can either be rubbed or washed off.
According to its creator, spilling an entire cup of coffee onto these amazing pants is not a problem, as the dark beverage would simply slide off them, like water off a duck’s back.
Looking like stylish chinos and dress pants, they are versatile enough to be worn at the office, on a bicycle or even while rock-climbing, as demonstrated by some of Kirk’s friends.
