Malaysian artist and architect Hong Yi (also known as Red) has painstakingly and artfully created a striking portrait of movie star, Jackie Chan, entirely out of chopsticks.
For Jackie Chan’s 60th birthday, Red was contacted by Jackie Chan’s art director to create something special.
She spent a month collecting a total of 64,000 chopsticks. Tying them up into different bundle sizes with strings, she then hung them all from a steel frame.
This piece was unveiled at his birthday concert, in front of an audience of 10,000 people.
