A Bosnian retiree Momir Bojic is an inspiration to many—at age 71, he has painstakingly recreated a VW Beetle with small pieces of oak in the span of just two years.
The wooden oak car “uses over 50,000 pieces of wooden oak that are assembled like miniature rounded shingles”, resembling the body of an armadillo when viewed up-close. From afar, it looks just like a regular brown Beetle.
The vehicle is fully functional and “gets plenty of attention on the roads”.
