Infographic: The Power Of Visual Communication





The saying that “a picture is worth a thousand words” is more true than ever in our increasingly image-obsessed digital world. However, visual communication is not a modern concept—it began 10,000 to 40,000 years ago with cave painting and engraving.



Creative agency Wyzowl, which specializes in animated videos, has made this infographic that illustrates just how powerful visual communication is, be it in the form of an object, a photograph or a drawing.



According to it, not only do we remember more of what we see as compared to what we hear or read, but we also process visuals 60,000 times faster than text.
