Interactive Site Educates Users About Typefaces And How To Use Them

The designers at Hoefler & Co. created an interesting way to "discover typography" through learning and understanding the different types of typefaces.

The website consists of three different "zoomable landscape", with similar typefaces being categorized together—a pop-up window will appear when users click on each category, enabling them to learn about the typefaces it houses.

For instance, the typeface "Tungsten" is described as "that rarest of species...a compact and sporty san serif that's disarming instead of pushy: not just loud, but persuasive".

A fun site for designers and typography enthusiasts, these fonts can also be purchased on the design firms website website.
