We’ve previously featured a book that catalogs crazy fashion trends for cats, a tome that captures the relationship between metalheads and their pet cats, and a book poking fun at our obsession with felines.
Neko Land by French photographer Alexander Bonnefoy is a cat themed-book that cat lovers everywhere will appreciate.
Bonnefoy documented the lovable stray cats of Japan during his recent travels around the country, from Tokyo’s urban environment to the laidback islands of Okinawa and Hokkaido.
Captured in alleys and nestled in trees, they range from pretty, docile creatures to tough-looking warriors with battle scars.
With their expressive personalities and features, we can only imagine the stories they would tell if they could talk.
