Japanese Confectioner, who goes by the name of Otakumi Wagasi on his Twitter account, has given a creative spin on the “Wagashi”, a type of traditional Japanese pastry.
His vibrant creations are inspired by iconic cartoon, manga and video game characters, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokémon, and Olaf from Frozen.
Wrap within the cute cartoon exterior are delectable pastries made from glutinous rice paste, filled with sweet white bean paste—not only are his creations lovely to look at, but are appetizing for the sweet tooth.
