London-based artist Jonathan Yeo has created a series of paintings that capture women undergoing cosmetic surgery.
His paintings consist of blurred edges, unfinished paint works of torsos and body parts, suggesting that these bodies are still a work in progress, depicting how vanity is an obsession and a longing for perfection is an unending process.
These paintings of half done transformation are deeply disturbing—it highlights how the society are ever so ready to undergo drastic changes.
