Dhaka, Bangladesh-based photographer Tushikur Rahman’s series ‘Fatalistic Tendency’ is a haunting visual diary of his struggle with depression.
Taken between 2010 and 2013, the harrowing photographs document his suicidal thoughts caused by insomnia and anxiety attacks.
Violent and nightmarish, the scenes of a blood-stained sink and hallucinatory self-portraits act as a representation of his darkest fears during a troubled period in his life.
