This Tiny, See-Through House By The Sea Offers A Space For A Solo Retreat

Japanese architect Yasutaka Yoshimura has designed and built a small house next to the sea called ‘Window House’, situated on the Sagami Bay in Kanagawa, Japan.

Constructed in 2013, the house occupies a mere 10 by 26 feet. Designed as a place for one to go for a weekend retreat, this modest room accommodates just one.

The design is mindful of its surroundings, with 2 large windows where one can look directly through, in a manner that it does not block sea views from its neighbours.
