Here is something fun and creative to do with that Starbucks paper bag that comes with your cuppa. The idea came to Taiwanese designer Mr Zhou when his old wallet fell apart and realized that he could easily create a new one.
All you need is a penknife, double-sided adhesive tape and of course, a Starbucks paper bag. With some cutting and folding, a foldable wallet with slots and compartment for coins can be completed in about 30 steps.
For the full tutorial, head over here.
Flatten the bag, then cut the it into five pieces according to the creases that shape it
Fold the bottom portion over, leaving the borders sticking out
Place double-sided tape on the borders that are sticking out, remove the protective layer of the double-sided tape and carefully insert the border flaps into the sides of the wallet
Fold the sides of the piece backwards to fit the width of the card, fold the top of the piece backwards to fit the height of the wallet. Fold the excess up and over the bottom of the card holder and insert the excess portion into the folds from the bottom of the holder
Fold the sides of the piece inwards. Create a cut on the side along the crease, similar to in Step 6 (refer to full tutorial)
