A lot has been said about the upcoming Apple Watch, but did you know that the tech company actually released a similar product back in 1995?
20 years ago, Apple created a limited edition watch specially for Macintosh users who upgraded to Mac OS 7.5—this was a promotional item that wasn’t available to regular consumers.
YouTuber Jonathan Morrison managed to procure one and brought it along to the recent CES 2015 tradeshow in Las Vegas earlier this month.
In a video, which was brought to our attention by 9to5Mac, he got attendees to review it and captured their reactions.
The comments were generally positive, with most giving the iconic Apple Rainbow logo and the bright colors a thumbs up. One guy also remarked that it “looks like a Mickey Mouse watch.”
