Extremely Rare, One-Of-A-Kind Leica Lens Is Up For Sale On eBay

The products of camera brand Leica have hefty price tags that are a reflection of their great quality—but would you pay US$230,000 just for a lens?

Recently, an Austria-based company Photo Arsenal Worldwide has placed the Leica R 600mm f/5 Apo-Telyt prototype lens on eBay with an asking price of exactly that—as a single edition prototype, it means that there is just one of it in the world, as it never went into production.

According to PetaPixel, this same lens was auctioned off for US$70,000 in 2013—it is also reported that the lens is in pristine condition, weighing over 11 pounds.

Head over here to read more about it—if you can spare the money, would you buy it?
