Artist and taxidermists Robert Marbury has brilliantly recreated the looks of American presidents in his latest project.
It took Robert six months to grow out and style his facial hair to look like those of the United States presidents he wanted to emulate—for President Rutherford B. Hayes, he had to add some extension “because the beard might have killed him”, and he had to put on a bald wig in some of the photos because his wife was against him shaving.
His hair was hand painted by artist Bridget Ritzinger, along with help from Brian Lesteberg, Alison Dean and Alix Fenhagen.
