Rescued Animals Pose In Magical ‘Alice In Wonderland’-Inspired Photo Shoot

Italian charity La Collina die Conigli has recently celebrated their 10th anniversary by featuring their laboratory-rescued critters as characters from the classic Alice in Wonderland novel.

The idea came about when volunteer Attilia Conti remembered that the rescue center first started with a white rabbit, similar to the story in the novel.

With the help of other volunteers, and amateur photographer Rachele Totaro, they were able to turned the rescued rabbits, mice, rats and guinea pigs into sweet models for the novel-inspired photo shoot.

Some of these pictures were also used in their 2015 charity calendar, to help raise funds for these rescued animals. Head over to their website if you are living in Italy and wish to adopt one of these animals.
