Legendary illustrator Al Hirschfeld, known as the ‘Line King’, has created brilliant pen and ink caricatures of Hollywood and Broadway stars.
100 of his greatest pieces will be exhibiting at the New York Historical Society in May 2015. ‘The Hirschfeld Century: The Art of Al Hirschfeld’ will feature his early work for Hollywood studios to his last drawings for the New York Times before his death.
Hirschfeld's outstanding drawings are a great way of capturing a century of Hollywood celebrities.
