A Cozy And Stylish Bedroom With A Multifunctional Built-In Bed And Storage Area



Previously, we featured this New York City apartment with a movable wall that reveals an additional room.

Today, we bring you another example of an abode that utilizes clever space-saving design.

Originally filled with freestanding objects, this room belonging to a 14-year-old girl was transformed by Russian design firm INT2architecture to create more space.

To achieve this, a multifunctional box comprising a built-in bed, wardrobe, drawers and bookshelves was constructed.

To maximize the features, a sliding board that exposed a blackboard while hiding a mirror, was installed. The board also acts as a screen for the overhead projector.
