A New Species Of Frog Has Been Found, Looks Just Like Kermit The Frog

Scientists have found a new species of glassfrog in Costa Rica that looks just like the popular muppet Kermit the Frog.

Called ‘Hyalinobatrachium dianae’, the tiny, green-colored amphibian has a translucent underbelly and round eyes that make it look like Kermit.

According to the Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center, this new frog was named “in honor of the senior author’s mother Janet Diane Kubicki”.

What do you think? Do they look alike?
