Baker and DIY-er Luisa of Why Don’t You Make Me? has created a cake shaped like a super-sized donut, inspired by Homer Simpson’s favorite snack.
The recipe includes baking a cake in your favorite flavor, coating it with buttercream, and sculpting the cake with rounded edges to form the shape of a donut.
To complete the cake, cover it with a tan-colored fondant, layer it over with a pink fondant as the donut icing, and dying smaller pieces of fondant for the sprinkles.
