Gorgeous Minimalist Stamps Feature Bold Typography, Bright Colors, Simple Shapes

London-based graphic designer Duane Dalton has an on-going project where he expresses his love of design and stamps to stunning effect.

Titled ‘Basic Stamps’, this creative endeavor has resulted in a beautiful and diverse collection of stamps that would delight even those who are not usually interested in stamps.

Using striking typography, vibrant color palettes and simple geometric shapes, he is able to come up with designs that visually relate to the countries that they are representing—for instance, the Japanese stamp features a red circle in the center and two red semi-circles by the side, against a pure white background.
