Students at the Japan School of Wool Art, together with their teacher Housetu Sato, had created an oversized cat head that can be worn as a mask.
The cat’s head is constructed from felted wool, and looks impressively realistic—RocketNews24 pointed out that the school is the only one in the world to boost a specialist cat-making course, taught by Sato, an expert in this field.
While they have no plans to reproduce the mask for retail, the creators are contemplating the idea of renting or selling the cat mask after its exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, which is happening from 18 April to 23 April 2015.
