Stephen Hawking is world famous for his revolutionary theories in the sphere of physics. But he can now add performance art into his long list of accolades, for his recent rendition of the “The Galaxy Song” by The Monty Python.
Just in time for “Record Store Day”, which falls on 18 April, Hawking has recorded a cover of the song, coupled with a mesmerising animation that sees Hawking flying through the galaxies in his wheelchair. This cover will be made available on 7 inch vinyl, but is limited to only 1000 copies worldwide.
This video shows that there is no excuse not to free our minds and dabble in as many forms of art and storytelling as we can.
