You Can Now Save Webpages On Google Chrome Just By Smiling At Your Computer

Google Chrome has come up with an extension that uses your webcam and facial recognition technology to determine which webpages make you smile.

The extension, called Smile Suggest, lets users decide how big a smile needs to be—on a scale of 1 to 10—before it can be used to save a webpage.

When Smile Suggest is on, your webcam remains switched on to scan your face for a smile. A green check mark will appear once a page has been bookmarked.

Creator Martin McAllister came up with Smile Suggest as an alternative to the regular way of “liking” a page. He uses Smile Suggest as a way of reminding himself of "the good bits" at the end of the day.
