29-year-old Sarah O’Neill is growing a mustache for Movember to raise money for cancer.
O’Neill is able to do so as she has polycystic ovary syndrome, which causes her to have excess facial hair.
“It used to embarrass me a lot, and my brother even called me Mach3, after the razor, but finally enough was enough and I had to accept that it was a medical condition that was just part of me. I now realise it's nothing to be ashamed of,” she stated.
Apart from raising money for cancer, O’Neill would also like to raise awareness for her condition.
