Redditor olias32 and his brother decided to embark on a fun but rather ambitious project for their mother’s 55th birthday—to recreate some of her favorite childhood snapshots of them.
The duo retraced their footsteps to some old holiday spots in Romania, where they struck the same poses, made the same faces and even tried to wear similar clothes to match those in the old photographs.
Reliving their childhood as grown men resulted in some funnily awkward pictures that would no doubt make their mother laugh—or she may just cry at the sweetness of the gesture.
