Connecticut-based artist Brenda Lyons has created a series of acrylic animal paintings on turkey feathers.
The colorful and intricate paintings capture the details of the animals beautifully, giving them a realistic look.
Some of the painted animals are mystical creatures such as the dragon and phoenix. There are also more familiar animals like owl, cat and dogs.
Lyons shared that her inspiration came from a love of the natural world, and a constant sense of wanderlust that she got from reading fantasy books.
