For photography enthusiasts who has an interest in the history of the field, this chart by Retrofuturismo Kitsch is probably something that you would like to look at.

Documenting the various photographic cameras that were made over an approximate span of 150 years, from before 1835 to 1981, this chart is a fascinating glimpse of the pre-digital world of photography.

You may recognize some of the more iconic and popular models that are featured on this chart—for instance, the Kodak Instamatic 50 (1963), the Polaroid XS 70 (1972) and the Sony Mavica, which has been described as the “pioneer of the digital age”.

Do you own any of these lovely vintage cameras?
