Writer Mark Wilson of Fast Co. Design brought to our attention that Netflix appeared to have introduced a new logo—the flat, red-on-white logo has so far only been spotted on the trailers of the company’s original content.
As Netflix has declined to comment on this new branding mark as of now, we could only wonder if this is a mere experiment or an actual update of the company’s visual identity. According to Wilson, who is a fan of the original logo, the latter would be a regrettable move because “the exiting logo is fantastic”.
Find out why he thinks so by reading his article here. What do you think of this potential change in Netflix logo—flat design may be trending, but is it a good enough reason to fix what is not broken?
