Using Mirrors, Architecture Firm Creates An ‘Invisible Barn’

New York-based architecture firm STPMJ has designed an “invisible barn” that is capable of blending in with its surroundings.

Fitted with reflective sheets on its surface, the structure ‘disappears’ by reflecting its surrounding environment.

The shape of the barn is flattened to fit in amongst densely populated trees and the plywood-framed openings are what reminds us that the invisible barn is actually still there.
