Having your dinnerware crawling with ants is never a welcomed sight, but German artist Evelyn Bracklow’s porcelain plates, which are hand-painted to look like they are infested with black ants, are somehow strangely compelling.
Since we featured her earlier this year, Bracklow has expanded her cringe-worthy collection of ants-covered porcelain ware—this time, she has painted sweet fruits onto some of the pieces, which the realistic painted ants seem to gravitate towards.
