Brilliant Redesigned Shipping Box Is Easier To Open, Has Easy-To-Read Labels

Boston-based freelance designer Chenchen Lu has created a concept for a redesigned shipping box and packaging that improves the experience of handling and opening up these parcels.

Named “Corner Pack”, this new shipping box features a folded in corner at the top that is marked in bright orange—to open the box, one simply has to lift a flap at this corner to reveal its contents.

This box is constructed in such a way that it does not need additional fasteners to be assembled—in addition, Hu has redesigned the shipping labels to be used on it so that the necessary information are stated more clearly and are thus more easily understood.

She has also applied the concept to other packaging styles, such as a flat document box and a large envelop—view more images of the project below, or head over here for more of the designer’s portfolio.
