Infographic: The World’s Population Visualized As 100 People

Ever wondered what the world’s population would look like if there were only 100 people?

London-based infographic designer Jack Hagley has turned that thought into an eye-opening infographic.

If the world was 100 people, 60 would be Asian, 26 would be aged 14 and under, and 51 would live in cities. It also reveals that there would be an even 50/50 split between men and women, 15 people would be undernourished, and that only seven would be college-educated.

The data was derived from a statistical chart by the 100 People Foundation, that was recently updated to reflect the world’s current population of over seven billion.
