Clever Illustrations Completed With Artworks From NYC’s Museum Of Modern Art

Vincent van Gogh, The Starry Night (1889)

Artist Christoph Niemann, known for his clever illustrations completed with real-life objects, has recently carried out his creative project at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

Instead of using objects, Niemann used the beautiful artworks exhibited in the museum to “complete” his fun doodles.

As featured on his New York Times blog, Niemann’s drawings were pictured interacting playfully with Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night painting, abstract sculptures, and even unsuspecting visitors in the museum.

Check them out below, or hop over here to view the rest.

Roy Lichtenstein, Girl With Ball (1961)

Vincent van Gogh, Portrait of Joseph Roulin (1889)

Franz Kline, Chief (1950)
