To show how hard dating in Halifax, Nova Scotia is, the Canadian city’s downtown business commission created a video to encourage people to sign up for its dating packages.
Inspired by this 1980s video montage, the retro-style ad features clueless prospective dates spouting ridiculous lines like “If you don’t believe in love at first sight, let me re-introduce myself” and “I love women and I am a love machine, to be honest with you.”
Equal parts silly and entertaining, it will probably put you off dating if you’re not attached.
