‘Hot Dudes Reading’ Collaborates With Banana Republic For A Good Cause

Remember the popular @HotDudesReading? The Instagram account featuring good-looking guys reading books on board trains?

Well, this somewhat voyeuristic Instagram account decided to lend itself to a good cause, through its collaboration with clothing brand Banana Republic.

Starring models decked out in Banana Republic’s spring releases and paired with witty captions by the @HotDudesReading team, this partnership aims to raise US$50,000 in donations for First Book, a childhood literacy non-profit social enterprise.

According to PSFK, this was a one-time joint effort which took place on 14 March.

Nevertheless, with the flurry of Instagram accounts featuring hot people posing with things or doing particular actions mushrooming of late, this might be a step in the right direction—utilizing their wide social media reach to drive good causes.
